Cannibalistic Humanoid
It all plays the same
It all plays the same, it's true
We don't all stand to gain
We all stand in vain, confused
Slick with all that talk
When you fall up into that sauce
Should a loss be part of that cost?
Disrespecting cuts of that cloth
Feign woke on cushiony soft
But we know what's going on
We give and they take and it's not enough
They lie in our wake getting Spotted up
Watching us
mouth full of taste, stomach knotted up
Instincts so strong it'll rot a gut
Holding so long when they ride a nut,
Squating tough, clotting blood,
Engrained in the brain, keep it simple and plain
Erasing our name is what their fodder does
Greedy's the beast, freaks Bubbling beneath
Gritting their teeth, weak, ready to swallow the street
Hollowing leech, reach, fleece, and squander the peace
Follow receipts, creep Shallow with grief
Knees deep, grease wallowing peeps
Dollops of meat, treated as feasts
They all lie in wait
They all lie in wait, in view
Revolt on the creators
To control what's created, a coup
Mutiny on the ship
Knowledge engrained is stripped
As Soon As Possible forget
Origins start to shift
Contaminate the gift
Then eradicate the stiffed
My opinion would be a bit alternative, I suppose, coming from a hardcore Doom fan. What I like in this kind of dark hip-hop, is the lurking anxiety, the blurred soundscapes where landmarks dissolve. the world is a incomprehensible place to be and musics like this, as doom metal, with similar gears: heaviness, repetitiveness, hypnotic sounds, ominous drones, are pointing the perfect absurdity of it. Always cool to find an artist who blows through preconcieved limitations of chosen genre of said art. Imagination with intelligence made this strange and wonderful sonic experience. warchrist30
